Guitar Lessons –  Duration

Duration of the lessons are half an hour. Students can hire a guitar from Anne depending on availability.

Lessons are available in the Victor Harbor, Fleurieu area S.A. at :

• Port Elliot Primary School
• Investigator College at Victor Harbor
• Strathalbyn Tyndale College
• Eastern Fleurieu Schools 7-­-12 Campus at Strathalbyn
• Middleton – Anne’s music studio

Technical Exercises

Based on age and ability.

Revision

A minimum of 3 revision pieces recommended.

Melody

Any note reading pieces introduced.

Chords

Any songs being learnt in the melody will have chords to accompany these and should be learnt as well.
Chords written in the song form, most of which are student based.
Variety of strum patterns according to ability.

Fingerstyle

As the student’s ability improves this will be introduced as solo pieces and also accompliment styles.

YOUNG STUDENTS

For the young student, a reward system of stickers is applied to encourage regular practice sessions.  Students will obtain a stricker for practicing 5 days in the week and will gain an additional sticker for 7 days.  When they have achieved 5 stickers they can choose something from the lucky dip box.
